St. Leo the Great and St. Thomas More
Catholic Communities in East Texas have a mingled identity but are growing and maturing along different routes.  This website serves the need to communicate the life of both parishes. 

Currently they are served by Fr. Nolan Lowry as he travels back and forth from the beautiful Hilltop Lakes setting of the newly constructed St. Thomas More Church to the city location of St. Leo the Great Church and Rectory in Centerville.
St. Leo the Great Catholic Mission

St. Leo the Great Catholic Church is located in Centerville the seat of Leon County. A vibrant and growing community of faith-filled people of all ages invites you to worship.  We welcome resident Catholics, "week-enders" and visitors for Mass at 11:00 am Sunday morning.  A Spanish Mass begins at 1:00 pm. 


St. Thomas More Mission

The construction dust has settled for 56 families who call St. Thomas More Mission Church in Hilltop Lakes their home parish.  Bishop Alvaro Corrada has dedicated their lovely church building for a worship space.  The grateful community invites you to lift your voices with theirs in praise.  Your prayer rises like incense to the 'clouds' above the altar.  Clear glass windows with a view of tall trees, sky and wooded acres are the only embellishment needed to inspire worship.
